Backstory: Born in the village of Genji to a lone war hound mother Tatsuo was quite an energetic pup. Always getting into mischief by either wrestling with others or getting into fights against monsters, Tatsuo's mother was forced to keep a stern paw on her oldest pup. However, instead of becoming a rebellious youth Tatsuo instead took this stern attention to heart and became a responsible war hound that many within the village came to both look up to and respect immensely.

Once he came of age though restlessness made Tatsuo leave his mother's village for places unknown, and, unwilling to allow his brother to go off on his own, Akio followed suit after him. Together the pair traveled all across the southern hemisphere of Terrigaia doing odd jobs in order to support one another until one day Tatsuo was asked by the general of the great city of Karnack to becoming a captain over a small group of soldiers. Amused by such a prospect Tatsuo agreed and so became one of the most talented captains within the city, and then one day...
